you can run 87 octane on most factory engines. especialy computer controled ones. Octane does not improve preformance or extend life. Higher octane does only one thing, it lowers the flashpoint of gasoline. the only time you need to go to higher octane is when the engine is knocking, or pinging upon acceleration.99 grand prix Coolant Tank...?
i know it's not right to answer a question with a question , BUT, here in NY USA 95 octane isn't readily available , where can i get 95 octane ?You don't need anything beyond 89 octane for that thing. 95 octane for a low compression engine is just a waste of money.
