But why? Big rims are ugly. What ever happened to the days where the rims were steel with the trim band and centre caps? Cars now adays are all show and no balls. I'm putting a 450HP 5L into my truck, I have stock corroded rims, a semi faded paint job with scratches, and its over all stock. Put effort into preformance, not appearance. As any tire shop will tell you you can out almost any rim on any car as long as the lug pattern in the same. Make sure you buy FWD rims. As far as a fit that doesn't require major alterations to your car you will have to get a super low profile tire(rubberbands). I would say don't go any higher than a 19 to avoid any rub. You can go with a 20 and get new springs to lift your car to the necessary height. With 22's your looking at a full lift kit. No matter what size you get, look at new brakes and roters too. your new rims will be several times heavier than your factory tires and you;ll find yourself going through pads.anyone have an eclipse for sale ?

You can go to tires.com or tirerack.com and look at rims there. But if you get rims that are too big you might have to get your speedometer recalculated to accommodate rims that are bigger than the original tire size. I would suggest 19's or 20's so you don't have to raise you car or buy new springs and so again you don't have to get your speedometer recalculated. But you can go talk to a rim shop and they can give all the details about 22's and the work that would be necessary. First off, gregthomasparke sounds like a latent homosexual, and completely missed the point of the question rambling on about his daddies crappy work truck that he spent his life savings rebuilding. NOBODY CARES.Second, you can make any size rim fit any car. you can start by removing the fenderwell covers, those black polypropelyne covers that are under your fenders between the tire and the inside of the fender. this typically allows an extra 2 inches of clearance. you will have to adjust the front camber to allow your car to turn though, so its possible you may require a mild lift kit for your new rims to be able to fit.
Try 18inch chrome wheels. Theyre big, chrome, and fit easily on most cars, and they wont look all dirty souf ugly and ghetto.
If you want ghetto fab, dont start with a classy ride like an acura cl. Go buy a ford crown vic instead of being a moron posting some whack sh*t like this.
