MPG stands for 'Miles per Gallon'. Pintos in general are getting more rare, and it's getting very hard to get Pinto specific parts. I own three of them. A 73, a 77 and a 78.Your MPG is a bit more rare as it was marketed as the more economical equipped Pinto, even though most Pintos were equipped the same. Just a decal and some tall rear axle gears make the biggest difference.

Just a sidebar. Pintos had lawsuits because some rear impacts caused fuel tank explosions. Same as some of the early Mustangs. There is a firewall kit that can be put in, so I'd ck to see if has been safety updated, probably not, before you let the kiddies ride in back.The new Dodge Challanger R/T or SRT?
