As a GM emp and UAW member I can tell ya the labor cost on everything from the tire valve stems to 505hp engine and every sensor and injector on it and all parts in between is 10% of the GM emp price which is a lot less than sticker

This the truth. My father drove to Bowling Green to see his rolling off the assembly line. He learned that percentage wise it costs more to build Corvette than any other vehicle GM builds. In other words the profit margin was lower than a van or the fanciest pick-up trucks.
