I have a 1998 dodge intrepid and I would like to know what may be the problem before i go to a shop.?

Every time I hit a bump or anything the front wheels sounds like they are about to fall off, it's just really a whole bunch of rumbling in the front. Do anyone have an idea wha this could be?

there could be alot of problems with your car. first off, the anti sway bar rubber could be gone. if thats the case then thats about a 15-30 dollar fix that you can do your self in an afternoon. but if your getting alot of rattle and the steering wheel moves when you hit a bump then you need new tierod ends and maybe even bushings. look at the wear on your tires, if they seem abit weird to you then that is your problem, you will also need to have your frontend aligned. take it to a mechanic before the car kills you!
