Does a Toyota Tundra have a GMC engine in it?
If your Acura has an automatic transmission the filter is inside the pan, as others have said. The pan does not have a drain plug. To change the fluid you have to remove the pan. VERY messy job. Do it after the transmission has cooled off to avoid getting burned by hot oil..if you cannot work these couple of simple things out yourself, i am not sure whether you should be attempting anything much on your own.

it is a simple cut-and-splice operation. if you're up to it, you can start the car before you make the last connection on your newly installed filter, and pump out a few quarts of fluid to a bucket. (when flow drops, shut the car down.)
and top off with fresh fluid.

How can I change the oil on my 1999 VW Passat myself?
First locate your transmission pan. Be sure youre not looking at the oil pan by mistake.
Then you'll need to unbolt all of the bolts. I usuaaly unbolt, and re-bolt things working intermittantly. By this I mean, not unscrewing or screwing in a straight clockwise or counterclockwise order, but instead alternating oposite side of the pan itself-- so that there isnt too much pressure on the last remaining bolts.

Anyway, once you've located the pan and are ready to unscrew your bolts... Try to be sure that you keep one side of the pan screwed in, not tightly, really loose like-- to avoid a huge gush of fluid.
Instead kind of pour it out slowly while unscrewing the remaining bolts.
