Check ebay. They have a lot of parts for cars. Also search the net for parts. Search on both Ebay and the net using several different parameters, such as "threshold plate" or 1981 Buick Riviera" and others. I have found parts for a '77 car several times on both Ebay and the net in general. This is what a lot of people are now doing with older cars rather than scrapping them out. Good Luck.

any junkyard should have what u are looking for. you can call a yard and have them cross reference the step plate to other GM models. GM used same body parts for a number of years and models. if you still cant find it, go reproduction/aftermarket companies such as Year One.
