It depends the higher volume of oxygen will cause a more efficient burn but if the engine ecu detects a lean condition it will richen the mix (burning more fuel) and lessen your fuel economy.LOL... dont believe those Ebay ad. like "this gives you better fuel efficiency" it is a lie. It gives a little more horsepower, perhaps like 1-3 HP. but much louder than the stock intake box.
just remember, 1 gallon of gas is 1 gallon, the fuel injector does not spray more or less fuel because you had a CAI.
