Yes, cool air makes a big difference, it's denser and has more molecules per volume. I have no clue what the rest of your question has to do with the first question though.

Do you think a GMC Canyon is a 'girlieman' pickup truck?

Cool air has more oxygen molecules so it burns better.

Is replacing an oil cooler in a 1996 chrysler neon 2.0 expensive?

It depends the higher volume of oxygen will cause a more efficient burn but if the engine ecu detects a lean condition it will richen the mix (burning more fuel) and lessen your fuel economy.

In dash dvd players?

LOL... dont believe those Ebay ad. like "this gives you better fuel efficiency" it is a lie. It gives a little more horsepower, perhaps like 1-3 HP. but much louder than the stock intake box.
just remember, 1 gallon of gas is 1 gallon, the fuel injector does not spray more or less fuel because you had a CAI.
The ECU does not adapt driving habit or anything, that is not even part of computer programming.
It adjust ur fuel and air mixture by set amount regarding according the how hard you stomp on the gas pedal.

Porsche or Mercedes?

A cold air intake will improve your gas mileage, albeit only slightly. Colder air is more dense, thus it contains more oxygen molecules per a given volume than warmer, less dense air. What this translates to is that your engine will run leaner and produce more power per unit of gasoline combusted. When an engine is starved for air (i.e.-oxygen) is when it runs the least efficient.

What/how much can a 3.9L 1992 Dodge Dakota haul/pull?

A CAI(cold air intake)is installed away from the heat of the engine. It consist of an open filter which allows for a colder more dense charge of air that contains more oxygen to enter the the cylinders to be burned.Usually you will get better results out of your CAI after adding additional mods to your vehicle. If your vehicle is bone stock look to pick up around 2-3 hp.It seems you are more concerned with fuel economy than power so my advice to you is scratch the CAI.Do a simple tune up on your vehicle,if it has not been done in awhile.Simply replacing a dirty air filter, fuel filter, pcv valve, spark plugs, wires, and haing your injectors cleaned can increase fuel economy substantially. In addition, something as simple as adjusting the air in your tire to specs is another small benefit to mileage.

Dodge V6 3.3 vs 3.8?

Absolutely, as stated by others already, colder air has more density and thus more molecules of oxygen per cubic foot. If you have ever seen in science class or on tv when a match is lit in a completely pure oxygen atmosphere its like an explosion . This is is the same inside your engine. The more o2 you can get into the cylinder the better your fuel burns.

Do any car companies make a hybrid Wagon or Minivan?

CAI systems provide best hp improvement for the $$ & slight increases in mpg; they eliminate flow restriction through the stock resonator box; trade-off is increased noise. Specific verifiable examples: 7th Gen Accord V6 gains of over 10 HP from AEM V2 CAI. My 2000 Accord V6 w. AEM CAI delivers 31 mpg @ 65 mph on cruise, where factory rating is 29 mpg.
