What car frame is the new suv Aspen built on ?
Well I'm sure you are already aware that the first two answers are wrong, since your Liberty doesn't have spark plug wires. It uses a coil on plug setup, and has ignition coil for each cylinder, the coil sits directly on top of the plug. If you look towards the center of the motor, out by the valve covers you should see the top of the coils, they are roughly the size of a 50 cent piece or so on top, and usually shiney in the center as they are epoxy filled on top, and they should have two small wires (1-electrical connection) going to each one. YOu should see 3 on each side. Once you remove these, the plug is underneath them, its a little ways down, you'll definitely need an extension.
follow the ignition wires, or typically just below the valve cover, or through the valve covers
Your owners manual should have a drawing of your engine. You need to locate your distributer and follow those six or eight wires until they come to an end.
99 Pontiac Grand Am groans when making turns?
Those wires leading from the distributer are the spark plug wires. At the opposite end of the distributer is where those wires end. Which is called the spark plug boots, or spark plug covers.
If you twist and pull gently on the spark plug boot(s) you will expose the spark plugs, which are each located inside a small cavity under the spark plug boot(s). Be careful pulling on the spark plug wire and boot, because inside the boot is an electrical connector that connects to the head of the spark plug. And you dont want to tear that thing up, or you may need new wires.
