you mean the key wont turn or the engine wont run?they use a PATS key (passive anti-theft system) that will open doors and unlock steering, will even crank the engine, but it wont run. needs to be programmed.

Ford had issues on the first US generation of the car (2000-2004) models with the tumblers .. but repairs done to those and any 2005 year Focus and after has the new style tumbler that isn't supposed to happen (I've only seen one jam, and that was one replaced by another shop who didn't build it right)Hi i live in barrow in furness cumbria and have a fiesta si i need two fog lights?
The biggest issues with the 2005s are the steering wheel, like some say above hitting against the steering wheel lock) and not allowing it to turn (which is normal and just twisting the steering wheel in the opposite direction will fix that)
