My 1991 Honda Accord is leaking stearing fluid. Can i put some stop leak in it and stop the leak?

The leak is small as it runs about 20 days before it start making noise. Bein told that honda do not do good with other stearing fluids can i add LUCAS or something to stop the leak?

Best way is just to fix the problem. Find out where exactly the leak is coming from and buy the proper hose line, clamps or reservoir. I just did mine over the winter and it cost me less than $30 for everything. It took me about 15 minutes at do the work.

I think "miracle" cures are only a "miracle" money maker for the outfit producing the stuff! Try replacing the leaking part with a "re-manned" unit. They are cheaper than new and usually guaranteed for a long time! Best to 'ya! ;-)=

I would check all the seals before I spent money on a new one, sometimes that's all it needs. If it starts squealing 20 days after you fill it up then its really not a big deal. If you keep a bottle of power steering fluid in your car and fill it up every week or so you should be fine.
