Are Mitsubishi Eclipses good, reliable cars? I love them, and I'm saving up for one, but I want to know if it's worth it.

Yes these they are amazing, i used to own a 95 GS-T which is turbo with frond wheel drive its very very good. If you will be buying one i would prefer a GSX which is a turbo with 4 wheel drive, you still get the performance(i think even better) and you get the safety on snow for example

Ive had a bunch of them since 1990. The second generation ones are my favorite 91-92...I currently have a tricked out 91 Eagle Talon TSI AWD which is same as Eclipse. It still gets lots of attention for an old car and is holding its value fairly well.I wouldn't sell for 5k.

I've heard heard that they are, and that theyre not, from different people. Based on this, I would say that theyre probably reliable if you don't drive like a lunatic and keep up with routine maintinance. I wouldnt weld the hood shut like on the honda commercials lol.
