Question:
i am looking at a 80's 300TD wagon. i know it sounds silly but dose the TD stand for turbo diesel? i looked thru the car but could could find no turbo charger, unless it looks much different than any charger i've seen. also it does not have the "turbo diesel script that is on the right. thanks john

Is it possible to program a 97 Honda civic keyless entry after putting in a new stereo?
The "T" just signifies that it is an estate wagon model. The "D" means it is a diesel. The turbo-diesel wagons still show 300TD on the left but the title actually shows them as 300TDT the second "T" stands for turbo. If it's a turbo it should have the "turbo-diesel" logo on the right side, plus if you've ever seen a turbo you would be able to recognize it on that car, it's not a really oddball installation.I hope this answers your question.
I currently have two 300tdt wagons (amongst other MB models) and have had three other TDs previously. They are great cars I have NEVER been broken down on the side of the road! The '82 thru '85 models are the best! The glow plug, climate control and cruise control systems are far better and all the diesel wagons were turbo after '81. The most likely problem I'd expect you to have buying one of these great cars is you will probably find that it runs out of fuel before the needle shows empty unless the level sender has already been replaced. And if it has the loop type glow plugs, ('77 to '79) when one goes dead, the whole system is dead and you won't get it to start without replacing the plug first.
In Mercedes-speak, "TD" stands for "Touring Diesel".
Head lights for a Ford Mondao right hand drive?
Correct, the T means it's a wagon, unsure if the literal translation is "touring" though, but at any rate it means wagon, and the D is Diesel. Tirbo, if it has it, would be on the right side, roughly behind the alternator, or just follow the exhaust pipe up to the engine, the pipe would attach to the back of the turbo.I have a 1990 ford thunderird sc supercharged with a salvage title for sale?
