Sure you can install one, but unlike the factory, it will more than likely start leaking. Also when you cut the roof on the Jeep. You also damage the resale value of the thing. If I were you, I would enjoy the overhead console, unless you don't enjoy it. But, if you have no future plans of resale, then go for it. Just don't cut any corners on parts or workmanship. Use top quality parts and not cheap ones. Use top quality weatherstripping and good glass. Good luck! You can do it!
