AWD drives much differently than a FWD or RWD vehicle. I learned to drive when FWD was rare. When I finally drove a FWD car, I thought something was wrong with it from day one.
Turns out, it wasn't what I was accustomed to.

My suggestion to you is to find another 2005 Murano AWD at a dealership and test drive it. If it drives the same, it's all in your head...get used to it. If it isn't, have the tech who worked on your car, drive the one you test drove and ask him to make the two drive alike.

Well first thing I hope your aware of is that the S models come with CVT which is a continuos veriable transision. If this is your first car with this type of transmission you need to realize the ride will feel very very different. where as other cars have a torque converter and a transmission which changes gears this has neaither.Power Steering Fluid leaking out around the reservoir top, what could be my problem?
What happens is it will accelrate and rev until it reaches its power band then from there the transmission will use pulleys to vary the rate of energy tranfer. ie no gear change, because of this there is always a feeling of the engine reving and not gear changing.
