The basic sheet metal and design is unchanged from 2002 through 2006. As most manufacturers do, Toyota changes minor things just to "freshen" its look each year. This would be things like changes to the tail-light lens design, minor changes to the grill pattern, minor additions or deletions of the colors available one particular year to the next and the like.

When and why did Audi stop making the A2?

In answer to your question, in terms of actual re-design, ground-up, Toyota usually uses a 5-year pattern for the Camry. They just had a change in '07, the last was in '02, the one before was '97, and the one before that was '92. Hope this helps.
