Jeep Light Bar Wiring Installation on 06 TJ?
I have an '04 Malibu LT with nearly 64,000 miles...the main problem I've been experiencing for about a year now is that every now and then the radio (which has xm and a 6 disc changer) will go crazy on me and start to automatically flip through chanels - and this may have been because about 2 years ago I left the sunroof cracked during a horizontal rain storm and the interior got majorly flooded (my butt was waterlogged by the time I got home). Other than that...I did have it to the shop in '05 because when I turned the steering wheel I felt a 'clicking' which apparently may have been a fairly common problem for my model year...it has since been resolved and to this point the only other things done to it was I had new tires put on last november (just under 60k miles) and a wheel bearing replaced a month or two ago. The car itself has been fine - in all types of driving conditions and gets excellent gas mileage on the highways...I'm just ready for an SUV.I beg to differ with both respondents below me. As you see, I've outlined in detail anything I've had with the car - not much at all. This is vastly different from my younger brother's old car - a '98 malibu. His was a 4 cyl, problems with the tranny (and an overall bad driver behind the wheel). I never plan to buy one of vehicles they tout. They do NOTHING for me and look boring as hell (not to mention some, like the Yaris, are scary ugly)! I've thoroughly enjoyed my car as have others that have driven it. It is a fine looking car (and I don't have MAXX...too stationwagonish for me). I will continue to buy GM as I always have.

Mileage seems a little high to me. go to library & check the Consumers Report on vehicles. it will tell of any problems to check for .What are the best mods for a 1990 gmc pickup with a 5.7 liter V8?
Well if you can't get a Accord or Camry then I guess your going to become friends with your local Chevy dealer. The Malibu is an incredibly boring middle of the road car. It does nothing really well. It will keep going, as long as it has had the proper service. But you will be driving a car that will depreciate faster than almost anything else. If you get an Accord/Camry you will have a car that is nicer to drive, sit in, and live with. It will also be worth way more in 3 years.
I don't know why people still buy the crap that is spewed out of Detroit. They make badly built, poorly designed cars and people still fall all over them selves to get one. I don't get it. Hyundi makes better cars than most from Detroit.
I have a c230 Kompressor (2002) lately it has been making a grinding noise upon acceleration..?
chevys are not near as good as they used to be the miles are high for a 3 year old car on average are car usually get 12,000 ayear well that times 3 is 36,000 so it is high and with malibu's one minute it's a great car the next your transmission has gone out and your out another 2000 dollars if i was you i would take the money for the malibu and get a toyota corrola or the new toyota yaris they are both fairly priced and wont leave in the mess a malibu willI have an 89 Nissan Max. Please explain the Idle to me.?
According to every automotive magazine I've read, the Chevy Malibu, though not as sofisticated as it's import competitors, the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, actually gets very high marks for quality, reliability and owner satisfaction. The car prices several thousand dollars less than the imports too.I had rented a 2005 Malibu when my pickup was in the shop, and was very impressed with the car. It had the 3.5 V6 with the automatic and traction control, and got over 30mpg. I'd personally recommend it to anyone who is looking. Don't let the miles scare you off.
WHERE CAN i FIND AN OWNER'S MANUAL FOR MY 2001 MERCURY SABLE LS PREMIUM?
First of all the quality is UP on GM cars. The biggest problem I've seen with the Malibu's are the security key cylinder goes bad causing a no start. That's on the older models. Not sure about an '05. That mileage is high though for the year. Have never ever heard of any transmission problems in a malibu.
How do I change the seatbelt buckle on 1991 Ford Ranger?
I might ride in a Camry, Corolla or Hyundai if I wasn't so homophobic. I would also ride in a yaris if the windows were tinted.
