Inside the distributor. You have to remove the plug wires and remove the dist. cap and rotor. The ignition moduel is the black piece about the length of your thumb with two screws that attach it to the base plate of the distributor. It has 4 or 5 connections on it at both ends of it. Good luck.

i own a shop,and that one is in the distributor ,you just need to remove the cap and enough wires so that you can get the cap out of the way,and get to it,there very simple to replace though,and pretty cheap also,good luck,i hope this helps.
