It could be a few things but on of the easiest to check is the battery. When this cars battery goes weak all those lights come on. The anti lock and track light could come on due to a wheel speed sensor. The service car soon light could be on due to any number of things. First check the battery if that's not it you need to take it to a dealer and let him pull the codes.I agree. have the ECM and anti-lock codes checked, but go to your local parts store, they will pull the code for free, as well as reset it once the problem is rectified. The dealer will charge you for both services.
Could be alot of things. The check engine (service engine) light indicates an electronic problem. When you have traction control, the trac off light will come on, because the computer will disable it when there is an error logged in the computer. The anti-loc light could also be part of the whole problem, or it could be telling you that the brakes are worn out.
You need to have the codes read before any more help can be given. They will do this for free at auto zone, or advance auto parts, and some Napa stores.
Your auto uses the anti-lock brake system to read the traction control, and the two systems are connected. The traction control applies your brakes independently to each of your wheels, to control wheel spin. If the engine has an error, the system shuts down, to avoid causing you to have an accident.

SERVICE VEHICLE SOON light? or SERVICE ENGINE SOON light? BIG DIFFERENCE! The N-bodies are the only GM car that has both.. I know if you have a ABS problem will turn a SVS ABS and trac off lights on..and being a alero. is most likely a wheel speed sensor.. but will never know without a scanning it for codesTime to replace the car. I owned a 1999 Alero for 3 years and took it in for repairs because something was constantly wrong, twice they had to get a specialist to fix the car cause they couldn't figure it out. I had a rental car on 3 occasions. Lights were constantly going on or something was falling apart. One of the worst decisions I ever made was purchasing it, but one of the best was replacing it with my Honda.
