Gasoline. An easy way to tell for next time - look for spark plug wires. Diesels don't have spark plugs (they have glow plugs, but these look very different, and the wires don't look the same, either.).Gasoline. That was an easy one..

reg old gas......Is there a website where I can see what my car will look like painted different colors?
Regular leaded. As only unleaded is available - regular unleaded is fine - Use of unleaded long term may result in some valve seat recession unless hardened valve seats are installed during a top end rebuild. Not a huge concern unless you are planning on running a lot of miles.Gasoline. Beetles are a fun car when they're working and not too bad to work on normally, and parts are still easy to come by as JC Whitney and Hot VW's magazine has a large number of companies that carry parts. I've driven several and have a few projects I need to get to work on.
Have fun!!
They take regular gasoline.
