What the above answer talks about is the "check engine light." Is this the same light that is illuminated in your dash or is it the "maintenace due" light?

1999 CLK 320 COUPE;2002 E320;1997 E420 and 1999 S320 COMPARISON?

Assuming that it is the maintenance due light, then what is likely is that it has been a certain number of miles/time since the vehicle has been serviced. You car has either an "A" service or a "B" service (think "oil change" or "15K service") due. Take the vehicle into the dealer (since you just bought it) and they will tell you what service it needs. Or, if you prefer, you can just have the oil changed and then re-set the light yourself. Your owner's manual should be able to tell you how to do this.

Can anyone help blower on honda accord not working?

Do some reading up on your vehicle, because in 1998 Mercedes went to a flexible service interval, not strictly the 15-30-60 mileage services that we are used to.

Would a 4 inch lift on a jeep wrangler TJ look stupid with 30in tires?

Same thing happened to me with my 2000 Ford Taurus in March 2006. I had about 72,000 miles on mine at the time my engine light came on. Service station said it was a cam shaft sensor that was bad. Cost over $450 to have it replaced. I drove it about 2 miles from the station and the light came on again. They told me it had to be something else because they drove it for about 10 miles to check it out after the repair and it was just fine. When I took it back in they now said it was a plastic cap at the end of a vacuum hose that had deteriorated - something about exhaust eats through the plastic - and now it had to be replaced to a tune of about $285. I asked if it would interfere with how my car ran. They said no, it only effected the dashboard engine light - it would continue to stay on. I declined the repair and have been driving it without inciddent since. In fact, strange as it may be, the light finally went out this month... probably burned out due to being on all of the time! I have read that these sensors are set to light up after a certain amount of miles. Makes sense to me. It's a crooked deal. I was scammed for sure. The first repair they had done an electical evaluation on it, yet 2 days later they had to do another electrical eval and discovered the vacuum hose problem... but it didnt show up the first time, when it evidently was present then as there is no way the end cap could have disintegrated in 2 days just sitting in the garage being repaired.

Suggestion: bring a male friend with you who KNOWS about mechanics. They rip you off less if they think some guy is involved.
