It starts fine and idles okay too, but as soon as i step on the gas it chokes and starves for power, i can "floor it" and go nowhere fast. sometimes when i "play/pump the accelerator" i can get some go power but nothing decent to even drive on a neighborhood street. any ideas? please, and thank you.

Sound like your catalytic converters are plugged. Had a similar problem would start but no power. With this many miles it's probably bad. Mine went out at 96,000. Warranty was only good for 80,000 miles so I did it my self.More Questions & Answers ...
