Can anyone think of a reason I shouldnt o that?

Answers:

what is alloy wheel?

Because of the head cracking history of the 2.9l, people are always trying to run them cool to compensate. The fact is the ECU wants to see 195, you won't increase efficiency by changing that. I don't know what your "gremlins" are, but running the enigne cool will not "fix" anything. And a cool running engine will build up deposits more readily, which is also not good. Might I suggest using a radiator for a '91-'93 Explorer 4.0l w/ac, it *should* be a drop in, and has a much greater cooling capacity, it should prevent any chance of overheating without forcing it to run at an incorrect temperature.

which is the best product and procedure of fixing head gasket leaks?

Computer wants it to have a 195 for best fuel economy. Your fan clutch is possibly bad.

What happens to cars when newer editions come out?

I dont think this will fix it unless your thermostat is stuck half closed. Your problem is probably in the radiator.
