I have a volvo V70 R, when driving through a jumpy road, I can hear the supension bounce in my car.please help

Hello, Iv replaced 4 shocks on both V70R and S60R more than once, What happens is the top plates wear at the top and the rubber breaks the shock is allowed some lateral movement and you get a clunk noise over bumps, The suspension system on these (4CC) is quite complex, You should only get your Volvo dealer to do this for you as they are the only ones who can reset adaptions in your suspension module,, Iv also seen wishbone bushing's go on these but the shock's more so,,,

Bolt pattern 95 subaru?

when i get an 800 or s/v70 with a front suspension bump, i check spring seats first., take a 13/16th's wrench and give the nut on the top of the strut a bit of a pull. if it springs back, its ok. if it spins, it's bad. bumps like hell, but i've never seen one do any damage like the older models. part sells for about 30 bucks wholesale, and if you pay more than 100 bucks labor, i'd find a new shop.

sway bar links are a likely culperit [open the door and use door to rock car side to side sharply while an assistant holds on to links and sway bar if lost motion is felt in either one of these replace the link or the sway bar mounting bushings. caution don't put body parts in harms way when rocking the car.watch before you reach.
