Ford EEC 4 Codes?

Question:
Car is a 1989 Ford Thunderbird. I checked it and got code #96 "Fuel Pump circuit open, battery to ECA "...What would cause that? Do i need to worry about it?

does it run? is the check engine light on? if not, I wouldn't worry about it. Get the code erased and see if it comes back :)
