no but the master cylinder has been known to break under pressure and or constant friction. I think over running the truck, constant accel and decel plays a big part in the cracking. I'd call any Gm Dealer or chevy's 800 # and find out if it hit their recall list and if your under any warranty it'll get replaced if not get on one and wait 90 days before you call in the claim (assuming the mileage is under 75000)
