How to control shifting in my automatic transmission...?

I wish to control shift points in my 92 Tbird auto tranny. Does anyone know what is the control method used by Ford to determine shift points?

have you tried the old favorite, shift it manually, upshift and then pull it back down to hold it in gear. works on the older models :)

You move the shift cable at a different position if you have aod transmission. If you have aode the computer controls it.
