i bought a2002 expedition suv for 18k with 68km on it,but my friend went to a dealer bought the same one with 88km for 10.000$-and now i,m looking to buy a 96-99 mercedes-benz e-class for at least 10k but can,t find any .why is that?

How much after you did your friend buy his, and was it in the same condition, same trim, options, obviously not since it had more miles. 2nd, domestics usually get discounted a bit more new, so used they bring a bit less, but overall cost of ownership is close.
