Lift the car up with a jack stands or a lift. Spin one of the rear wheels and if the other spins in the opposite direction then it is has a LSD. As far as HICAS, no. Skylines in 91 had that feature but it was not carried down to the 240sx.

yes it got HICAS and a mechanical Limited Slip-Diff..(only on turbo version) ..
a drifter usually get rid of the Hicas system.. make it easier to slide & sideways and dont forget to get a 2-way full-lock LSD

Sorry dude, it dosent. Limited slip, I believe it does, HICAS? NO, you got a 240 and not a Silvia. Us Americans get the lesser versions of all those Japanese works of art.
