Driving along and it acted like it was running out of fuel (no its not out of fuel) Not sure if it is the Fuel injector pump? or what any ideals? The truck won't start at all turns over but I don't think it's getting fuel Thanks

First thing to go out on these trucks is usually the transfer pump which transfers fuel from the fuel tank to the injection pump. Chrysler has an updated kit that is used to move this often faulty part to an in the fuel tank pump kit that has shown to be flawless. I havent seen one truck come back after that was installed. Then, what can also happen is, is that when the original transfer pump starves the "injection pump" of fuel..( injection pump is aluminum and is lubricated by the deisel fuel..) the injection pump goes bad.. its a good possibilty its your throttle postioning sensor check that out with a obd2 scanner, it will through a code and if that aint it take a 19mm wrench and loosen a fuel line at the injector or pump and see if its gettin fuel. and if not check if the lines r cracked,broken,or off, but dont sit there a crank it u can rouin your injectors if u keep turning them dryHonda accord engine knocking noise?
Sounds to me more like your LIFT PUMP. I had this happen to my 2004 Dodge 3500 CTD. At 40,000 km I was driving and it just quit! It would crank over but would not fire up. Had to get it towed. If you have a 98.5 -02. Your injection is out. Go to Autozone and get your codes read. This won't turn on your check engine light. So get it read, you pull a Code P0216. There's your answer. You need a new injection, and probably a new fuel pump too.
