Going to sell my 74 Jeep J10 4x4 with 90,000 orginal miles, has v-8 auto, very little rust, how much?
I own a transmission shop, and I can tell you this; Mazda transmissions are pretty good. They don't give much trouble, and they usually will last up to about 150,000 - 200,000 with no problems. This is if you keep the maintenance done on it, as in fluid changed, and new filter every 60,000 - 75,000 miles. As for your warranty; That is an issue you will have to take up with the dealer you purchased the car from. I would get the warranty, and go over it with a fine tooth comb. Pay close attention to the power train issues. I could be wrong, but if you bought one with 2 yrs. left on the factory warranty, then you would have to go to a Mazda dealer.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!
