We bought a dodge caliber se - 2007 model - 2.0 l engine. Why is the maximum speed 180 km/h only.?
I SUGGEST YOU GET A GOOD COLD AIR INTAKE TO KEEP THE ENGINE COOL.YOULL NEED AN EXHAUST "A GOOD ONE" TO ALLOW WEAIST TO EXIT OUT THE ENGINE. THE BETTER THE ENGINE GETS RID OF WAIST THE FASTER IT CAN TAKE IN FUEL AND AIR FROM THE TURBO.
YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET A SHORT SHIFTER. THIS ALLOS YOU TO SHIFT FASTER AND YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG AS U DO FOR UR TURBO TO SPOOL UP.
AS FAR AS GAUGES. YOU NEED AIR TO FUEL, VOLTS, OIL TEMP. WATER TEMP. BOOST GAUGE AND BOOST CONTROLLER.
Would 15" centerline vette wheels work on a 91 camaro that calls for 16"?
If your car hasnt already got a turbo i believe to turbo it you will need a small turbo as adding to an na engine without changing inners of engine.A new turbo exhaust and manifold.Intercooler.ecu piggyback.
And if going a lot faster new brakes etc.
Is Oldsmobile not manufacturing any new cars?
I know on a lot of non-turbo cars you need to get a new cpu to control the flow of gas. If you don't the engine will pump extra gas into it because so much air is being forced in by the turbo. A friend of mine put a biggert turbo into his car and his engine floods all the time because of it and he spent a lot to fix it so just be careful putting the turbo in. Make the person, or yourself, knows what they are doing. In a race, what would win over a ΒΌ mile: Porsche 911 Turbo vs BMW M3.?
depends on how many lbs of boost you tryin to run if its like 15 higher you gonna need a stronger bottom end but most turbo kits run on stock internals so just the exhaust and a fuel pump and regulator would be fine if you are runnin stock internals don't boost over bout 9 lbs gonna blow that engineThe Teg's have hundreds of kits to choose from the best ones I've heard of come from GReddy, Edelbrock, Turbonetics, Top Fuel, and South Florida Performance (SFP).
A T04 turbo is common place, very reliable turbo. Intercooler wise ARC, GReddy, PWR are pretty good.
As for ECU's HKS & AEM.
Kits are always better though because they were built to specific tolerances.
Not to mention that you need to reinforce your block also.
your gonna need a watse gate, blow off valve (bov) intercooler, turbo, the manifold for the turbo, electronics to control the turbo because you dont want to kill it early and maybe a few other things i cant think of right now =/
