Answers:

Does anyone on here have a Volkswagen car? If so do you like it or loath it?

If you have a four cylinder motor, leaking head gaskets, (coolant leaks) and exhaust manifold cracking. For all motors they have bad belt tensioners, starters, alternators, ignition module and crank sensor failures, corroding spark plug wires and coil towers, intake manifolds leaking oil and coolant, oil pump drives leaking oil profusely, mufflers rotting, rear shocks leaking, front stabilizer bar bushing noisey, PCM board problems, ignition switch internal contacts faulty, premature brake pad wear, rotors warp and need to be replaced, steering rack leaks or worn out, worn out tie rods (inner and outer), ball joints worn out, wiper switches, headlight switches. I think that is pretty much all the usual things that used to go wrong with the Cavaliers. I actually like the cars and think they are fairly reliable and I should know as I used to own one and repaired thousands of them. Preventive maintenance can save a lot of time and money if it is constantly done. I really believe that.

Where is a good place to take stock jeeps in NC?

Those are all part of that cars lifetime repairs...Almost everyone I know whos had one (including me) has had to do those repairs

traded my caddie for a mercedes. there is still a gap in quality and performance as well as service.?

Cars are "all" junk any more, and not worth buying. Out of your list is a timing chain/belt. You cannot be far from that needing replaced, so check your owners manual to see when that is in the maintenance schedule. Yours has given you very little trouble, and I know you are very lucky, but this goes to prove that if you take care of your car it will take care of you. Oh yeah, the transmission won't be far off either if its a straight drive then a clutch will be in order soon too.
Glad I could help you, Good Luck!
