Any of the Hennessy Venom's, and (god I hate to admit it) the Ford GT 500. You are correct in saying "besides the Corvette" because really for the money the new Z06 is one scary motherf*cker. I just love all the guys that say some of the old cars were the most kick@ss vehicles ever built and they are great at quoting 1/4 mile times. IMHO the the 1/4 mile really isn't the only true way to mark performance. For a funny car yes, for a street machine who gives sh*t? A better gauge of performance would be times like 0-150mph-0. Lotsa go should have lotsa whoa. I would love to see some of the "Classics" beat anyone of these vehicles in this type of category. They couldn't do it, because the technology of the good old days is just that..nostalgia. Oh speaking of classics, the only one I can think of that would stand a chance is the Shelby Cobra......eons ahead of it's time....Wanting to get a WRX STI rear spoiler. Suggestions?

The Universal Jeep. Jeep Wrangler and Jeep CJ. They are the same vehicle, they just renamed it Wrangler in 1987. The Wrangler is the only car I know of that still has a steel body instead of a crappy fiberglass or plastic body. It has the best resale value of any car I know of. It is also extremely rugged. And don't even mention looks. It's style has gone virtually unchanged for over 65 years, they just made it bigger and put larger fenders on it. The Univeral Jeep was origionally a utility vehicle that could do almost anything. It could even operate farm equipment.Nissan 100nx 1993 dashboard removal can anyone help?
Outright horsepower, can't beat Chrysler. My personal faves were the 69 Daytona Charger, 72 RoadRunner & 70 Challenger.I just purchased my 60th car. I've had cars from VW to Porsche, from IH Scout to Maserati, and from Corvette to BMW. But I can truly say the baddest American car is the 2006 Viper I bought last year. This car is just awesome. It rides hard, shifts hard and gets hot inside. The car is perfect. Unbelievable torque, 0 to 100 and back in 14 seconds, unimaginable handling and massive breaks. The Viper is the perfect Shelby Cobra of 40 years ago. I had a Corvette Z06 before the Viper and that was a big pile of crap. What an embarrassment.

The worst American car ever had to be the 1970s Chevy Vega. Some developed rust on the showroom floor. They just don't get any "badder" than that. If you mean "bad" as in good, probably the Viper. It's not very refined or dependable, and it uses outdated technology, but it's the only thing even close to the new Vette in terms of performance.More Questions & Answers ...
