I own a shop, and I can say this; I don't think they ever made a Z-28 other than the Camaro Z-28. Because what you have, your options are very limited. You can put a bigger engine in it, but it would have to be the largest engine that came from the factory in the Cavalier. The problem you will face is; It has to be a front wheel drive engine, and you will have to change the (ECM) computer to make it work out. The mounts are the least of your problems, but finding something that will bolt to the transmission will be a big problem. To be honest, you are probably stuck with what you have because I'm not sure they made a larger engine in the GM line that will bolt up. You could always put a bottle of Nitrous on what you have, and make a fast car. A turbo would be even better if you could find one.Glad to help out, Good Luck!
