My 1995 m reg ford scorpio cosworth has a problem with the heater.?

the fan works fine but all i get is cold air.can anyone please tell me how i get warm air,its too cold to drive without heat.

All cars have a heater control valve, usually mounted to the heater hoses on the input side, they either allow heated water to enter the heater core or not. They fail,sometimes in the heat on, or sometimes no heat freeze your buns position. I f you have the $ find out why it is not working, cable off/vacuum line off, or just froze up. If you are short of $, take it out and put in a splice that you can get at an auto parts store for a couple of $. The problem with this is that the heater will be on all the time and the only way to control the heat is to somehow clamp the hose, vice grips etc.
