Is the 2007 Pontiac Solstice a front or rear wheel drive?
a lot of things are different between a carthat can run ethanol and gas, hemi is not one of them. it reqiures a lot of upgrde in the fuel system and ignition part of the engine that needs to be replaced which can cost a lot of money.for example they have a 3.3 liter engine that runs on e85 but there also the same displacement engine identical but only runs on gas.i say abandon the idea of making it a dual fuel car.plus i haven't seen a single gas station in my area (no.california)that sells e85.hope this helps.I think the hemi is a high performance engine and needs the real deal for high-end fuel. You might not be able to do what you want and keep the warranty... be careful.
Good Luck!
You can run up to 15% ethanol on any car, above that (E85 for example) requires an all stainless steel fuel system and special mappings in the ECU to run. It's not worth the effort if it wasn't designed that way from the factory, It takes somewhere in the neighborhood of twice as much fuel when running alcohol because its ideal air to fuel ratio is substantially richer than what is required for gasoline, it requires larger injectors and completely different ECU calibration. Flex fuel cars have large injectors and utilize the ECU and oxygen sensor to determine what type of fuel they're running and have a wide range of adjustment to run any proportion of ethanol.

replace and upsize all fuel lines get bigger fuel pump get alc safe parts.. larger injectors[ethanal safe] trade for E 85 chevyHow to reprogram not a new keyless remote but the same current one.?
i would leave it alone, ethanol will destroy the rubber and seals in your engine. it is not designed to withstand E85 fuel unless it comes that way from the factory. With E85 you actually burn more fuel to get the same output. but it is cleaner and a little cheaperQuestion for classic car gurus?
It would cost several thousand dollars to properly modify the drivetrain to run on E85.How do I change the shifter knob on a 2006 Chevy Silverado?
You would probably be very unhappy with the 20-40 percent drop in fuel economy after having spent all that money.
How much hp do i get frm addin stikas 2 mi civik?
I wouldn't recommend doing this...it would actually be more economical to buy a "flex fuel" vehicle.but the mileage will still be much less with E85 than with gasoline.
