a jackaroo sounds like an austrailian car but you are looking
for is a small brass plug with probley a single wire running off it screwed into a water jacket in the intake manifold. these all work on a grounding principle, the more ground, the more the gauge moves or turns the overheat lite on. look on your manifold for the wire and ground it with a jumper wire and with the key in the run posation check gauge/lite and you have found the sender
