2004 jeep wrangler trail corners?

Question:
i'm trying to make my own trail corners for my jeep.i want to use 12 gauge steel.the machine shop here in town says 12ga is too thick to bend into a 6"radius.i was thinking if i just tacked the piece into place if i could gradually bend it using mapp gas and a round pipe.will it work?

Nope.won't work. The metal on your jeep isn't strong enough to hold or support the force necessary to bend it.
