Cleaning a electonic throttle body on a 2005 dodge hemi?

My 2005 dodge truck has the hemi and is stalling and surging at 1500rpm I was told that the throttle body needs to be cleaned and that it is fairly common ?

i have a 2001 dodge and that was happening and my throttle position sensor was gone and also my air idle control. i had no service engine lights on when they failed. autozone sells a product called seaform. dump the can in the tank. good stuff. remove the air cleaner on the throttle body you should see butterfly's like on a carb. ofcourse with the engine off it says spray 5 seconds i go like a minute and spray down the air inlet cleaning all the carbon away. also spray around the outside and you will see it cleaning. when you try to start it it well take 20 seconds until its moves fresh air in and it will clear out. you will have a better idle and more throttle response.

id take it to the dodge dealership there might be a flash update for your pcm to resolve that condition what they might do is reprogrammed your computor

FIRST OF ALL I WOULD NOT TRY TO CLEAN ANYTHING.IT IS DESIGNED TO SELF CLEAN SINCE IT'S AN ELECTRONIC THROTTLE.AND DONT TRY PUTTING YOUR FINGERS INSIDE CAUSE THAT MOTOR IS STRONG ENOUGH TO SLICE YOUR FINGER AND YOU COULD RUIN THE MOTOR BY SPRAYING CLEANER LEAVE TO THE PROS TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM.AVOID CAUSING ANY MORE PROBLEMS OR HURTING YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS.
