1999 Lincoln Town Car message under odometer reads 'trac active' when going over 25 mph. Just put on new tire

Question:
We just changed to stock wheels (had low profile) and while test driving, it was not getting gas and new message showed under odometer 'TRAC ACTIVE'. I don't have manual. What does this mean? When I stopped, message blinked off and then OK to drive until about 25 mph, then getting no gas and message returned.

Answers:

What website can I find out what options came with my vehicle?

You need access to a scan tool that can show wheel speed data. The trac system monitors all 4 wheel speeds independently and if there is any variation in speed from one wheel to another,it will activate the trac system because the computer thinks that one tire is spinning out. There is a sensor at each wheel, you might want to inspect the plugs and wiring first, may have been damaged when wheels were replaced

Opinion from Toyota Owners?

One thing to add make shure all 4 tires are the same size and height..I had one with similar problem all tires were the same size but different brand and one brand had a diameter of 3/4 inch more and was causing traction control to kick in and cause no power
