they give you a 2 yr warranty, but of course you always need longer than that,which the factory gives you.

Yes any modifications done other than from the dealer will void the warranty, but of course, any dealership isn't going to honor warranties anyways, they always find loopholes around to avoid covering things, so if you would like to upgrade, you might as well have what you want.
