Sounds like its time for a tune up. other than of course checking your tires, replace your plugs, air filter, oil change and even spraying a little carb cleaner in your thottle body can free up some junk you have restricting your air intake to the motor. The 3800 motor is pretty bullet proof so if those dont work you might want to have it checked out (could even be a clogged injector).
