The cheapest I have ever bought gas for was .10 cents. That was in 1964.It was during a price war between stations on a busy highway in Louisville. The same station also had a cigarette machine that sold a pack of cigarettes for 23 cents. You put a quarter in the machine and you'd get a pack of cigarettes and they would split the cellophane and insert two pennies underneath.
