Good question. I too saw preliminary pictures and I just didn't find it attractive at all. Not sure if it was the angle, or the color of those pictures, but I didnt like it at all.

Then went over to the Auto show and saw it in person, and it looks quite good actually. It was a double take. Also notice there's an optional package, that turns the upper most chrome strip above the grill, into body color...I guess for less bling bling. But with or without, I was pleasantly surprised.

A few other cars like the 300, I had the same preliminary perception, and then after awhile it grew on me (although in the case of the 300, I've grown tired of it since it's so common). But of course, most of us will have the similar issue when we repeatedly see the same thing over and over.
Any opinions on an isuzu trooper?? what about a hyundai sonota?
I guess thats why most of us go "goo-goo-ga-ga" when we see an Aston Martin or Ferrari since they are very scarce.
I also appreciated the 3rd row fold/disappearing seats being powered...just one touch and Voila. And the 3rd row is useable. I'm 6-02' and it had decent space, and most importantly, my knees weren't hitting my face like the Tahoe.
Also enjoyed the A/C front seats...unlike most others which just ventilate the seats with recirculating air, Ford pumps real A/C into the seats.
Just my thought.
