Hom much are late 90's/early 00's Subaru Outbacks going for?

Where's a good place to look to find out fair prices for used late 90's early 00's Subaru Legacy Outbacks or Outbacks? Or better yet, what do you think/know they're going for from dealers vs. private owners?

Prices on engine that will run in 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8?

Not all used cars are the same. It all depends on what type of transmission are you looking for, the mileage of the car, the service history and the trim level and how much you want to spend. Most Outbacks come with a 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engine. In the 03 MY they came out with an optional 3 litre H-6 cylinder. They are a great AWD wagon and are safe and reliable.
I am assuming you are in the US. go on line and check out the Kelly blue bock. You can also try car max, auto trader and craiglist. You could also check Subaru.com they should have some listings for used.
Prices could range from $9,000. to 15,000. US again that depends on the individual car.
