My 03 Honda Accord cd player is giving a error when trying to read cd's.?

It's not the radio code, I have it. Does anyone know what might be the problem and how to fix it?

My 03 Accord cd player had issues as well, just take it back to the dealership, I believe its a defect with Honda and they should replace it at no cost to you.

It is possible that the laser head got moved from wear and is no longer able to align with the CD.
If it is still under warranty, take it to Honda to look at , and you might end up with a new stereo. This happened in my car and the ended up replacing mine.

the cd unit is only designed to play store bought cd's,not burned cd's,as they are thicker than album cd's. Or your cd's are scrathced and smudged.

The best thing to do is get a new Radio.
If it's an 03 than your Warranty might be over.
Mine had the error when reading older CD's, then when I popped in a new CD it works for a little while then ERR would pop up. Warranty replace my radio and it never happenned again.
Try a CD cleaner in your Stereo it might be worth a try.
