Question:
I'm going to be buying a 95 extended cab chevy 1500 4X4 5.7. and I'll be putting on Volent Cold Air intake, Hedman headers, and posibly a performance chip from tbichips.com.
My question is what brand and model of exhaust should I get to make the most of the headers?
I'm looking for an exhaust that will be reasonably loud without breaking any local sound ordances plus being able to carry on a conversation would be nice. I'm kinda shying a way from flowmasters because I've heard that they can somtimes reduce the air flow and there for reducing performance.
Any advice that anyone can give me would be great.
Answers:
I can tell you right off the bat it's a big mistake but you will learn from experience that headers is a total waste of time and money!
Your choices will be extremely limited also unless you go for custom which will cost you up the zing!
Cat or Flow Master are your only choices that I'm aware of locally!

Cherry Bombs...Do hummer car sales people make a lot of money?
I would have to say your crazy too. A buddy of mine has had three or four full sized Chevys and put flowmasters on all of his and he swears that they give him way more power. They also sound good instead of obnoxious like cherry bombs. And you can probably do it for pretty cheap.More Questions & Answers ...
