The key to Ford's future will be similar to the key that turned Chrysler around from bankruptcy...they need to produce stylish vehicles that people want to buy and that they can't make enough of. great idea. taurus going away upset alot of FAITHFUL ford owners. it was a fabulous car and the 500 is also.(the 500 is really blah looking and the taurus always had an eye appeal not found in the 500, so i think a makeover is in order as well as the name change.)

If Ford built the engine and running gear of the Taurus as well as they did the body, they would have a real winner. The Taurus body is one of the best built out there and for its size is one of the heaviest, just try pushing one.by hand.
