What do i need to purchase to add a turbo to my Subaru Impreza GX '00?
Or is there better (cheaper, easier) alternatives to get extra power?

It is currently unmodified and i would prefer to do the work myself(depending on difficalty i can get a qualified machenic to do the work).

Nice easy modifications for a Scooby; Replace the exhaust and air filter with performance ones. If you do wish to get a Turbo you will need to put it into a garage because it has to have the manifold replaced with a turbo one and all the calibrations done. Can be very expensive, I'd stick with the easy modifications: performance air filter will giv you extra power and a performance exhaust will give you a wicked sound.
Put some nice wheels NOT SPINNERS on it.
